The Troubled Waters Drought and Change Show at the Sun Gallery opened on Earth Day, 2015 and runs till May 30, 2015. The show has received a lot of attention and great reviews. On May 19th an international correspondent from Swedish News TV visited the gallery and interviewed some of the artists who were able to talk about their work.
SVT will be putting together a documentary on the California drought and also a news piece.
The California drought art in the show is moving and carries profound symbolism throughout the exhibit. In addition to some great press, staffers from the State Capitol have also asked if one of the pieces could be hung in the California State Capital building. The art , by artist Fremont resident Maureen Langenbach, is above.
